San Ramon Valley High School

Mr. John Jacob
Campus Supervisor - San Ramon Valley High School

East Coast Transplant, arrived in Danville in June of 2005.  Stumbled accross the supervisor job while looking for a "Keep Busy" job.  It was the best stumbling I have ever done!  SRVHS is an AMAZING place to work and be educated.

Staff Advisor for the San Ramon Student Ambassadors (SRSA)

SRSA is a student organized and run club.  The students identify the problem areas on campus and come up with the action plans to resolve the issues.  Each year we evaluate the success of each committee
and add or remove committees as needed.
How It Works:
~The Executive Officers plan biweekly meetings held in the New Staff Lounge on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month. All members attend these meetings.
~Every member joins at least one committee. Monthly committee meetings are run by the chair and co-chair of each committee.
~Most meetings take place during lunchtime.  Attendance is taken and members should attend 75% of meetings to remain in good standing.
As this program grows, it builds a sense of student ownership for all of our students.  The students continue to identify areas of concern and come up with creative solutions.  The difference is seen campus-wide.  Because of our SRSA members, our campus and community is a happier and safer place to be.
