San Ramon Valley High School

Miss Ana Moruza
Muy buenas! I am so excited to be starting my fourth year here at SRVHS teaching Spanish II. I have taught Spanish for 5 years, first at Armstrong High school in Richmond Virginia, then at Berkeley Maynard Academy in Oakland and the last three years here at SRVHS. My heritage is Spanish on my father's side and I have traveled numerous times in Spain, as well as studied at the Universidad de Granada there for one year during college. I also lived in Buenos Aires and travelled around Argentina for 9 months. This summer I had the opportunity to go to Nicaragua with some students through a program called Global Glimpse and I look forward to sharing my experiences of Latino culture with my students. My goals for this year focus on motivating my students to use Spanish to communicate in and outside of the classroom. We'll be working to build each student's confidence in speaking Spanish through mastery of skills, fun games and a lot of hard work. Please contact me through email, [email protected].
