Athletic Boosters
ARTICLE I - NAME:

The name of this organization shall be known as The San Ramon Valley High School Athletic Booster’s Club

Article II -Eligiability

The San Ramon Valley High School Athletic Booster’s Club is an organization of parents and other interested adults.

Article III - Purpose

The purpose of the San Ramon Valley High School Athletic Booster’s Club is to provide an organization of interested adults dedicated to the following:
a. Sponsor supplemental programs to advance the extra curricular athletic activities of the school.
b. Instill pride and enthusiasm for school activities by the students, faculty and community.
c. Devise ways and means to accomplish and finance these supplementary programs.

Article IV -Independence

The Booster’s Club shall be a non-profit organization which shall remain independent of political and other partisan alliances which could affect its operation.

Article V - Membership

Membership in the Booster’s Club shall be open to any interested adult who pays his or her membership fee and is willing to work for and with the organization.

Article VI - Officers and Terms of Office

a. The Board of Directors shall consist of at least seven (7) elected members, including the President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and three (3) Directors at large.
b. The officers and the Board of Directors shall be elected to one (1) year term in March and take office at the following regular meeting.
c. No officer shall be elected to the same office for more than two (2) consecutive years.
d. An officer may continue to serve until their successor is elected.

Article VII - Duties

The duties and responsibilities of the various officers shall be as prescribed in the by-laws.

Article VIII - Amendment Of Constitution

This constitution may be amended by a two-third (2/3) vote of the members present at a regular meeting after notice of such proposed change has been sent to each member at least twenty-one (21) days before the meeting.

Article VX - Knowledge of Constitution and Bylaws

The Constitution and By-Laws shall be read by each duly elected officer as part of the procedure of their installation and a statement attesting to this shall be placed in the records.
